Angelica Gabrielle Patten’s make-up artistry stemmed from the curious age of 4. Her interest was developed, like all children from essentially destroying palettes of eye shadows and drawing on the world around her. This was the foundation of a self taught style that later would incorporate hair styling to the repertoire.
Fast forward to present date, Angelica, a licensed Esthetician, has solidified the name AGP and has geared the brand for a broad spectrum of work both in the US and internationally. In an extremely short window of time, her editorial talent blossomed while partnering with Iridium Clothing Co., Bra Perruci, CLEONS Clothing Co., Ford Models, Factor Women, BMG Models and a growing list of models and photographers like Diego Villareal and Jessi Arnold. She tackled New York’s Fall/Winter Fashion Week strengthening her runway skills with the likes of Reco Chapple, Floss Magazine, and Bleu Magazine to name a few. She has collaborated with Runway Report Miami and the Urban Fashion Board to orchestrate and provide the looks for presentations. Although Chicago based, her work has gained presence in Ghana with bloggers Afua and Hayet Rida and designers like Christie Brown. AGP has even graced the film realm with “The Photographer” but that hasn’t stopped the multi-faceted brand and artist from providing intimate skin therapy and makeup lessons to her fans and followers. “The road doesn’t end there,” she beams. “There is so much more in store from AGP.”
AGP embodies innovation, precision, and a love of detail seen in her clean and refreshing style. Her warm drive and connection with the client’s vision is felt and seen on every shoot and partnership she creates. “The goal is to literally leave my mark on the beauty industry,” she says. As her work continuously spreads beyond the US, her malleable skills are sure to take off just as rapidly as she appeared.
